Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(HPMC) Used in Construction

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) is nonionic cellulose ether prepared by a series of chemical processing using natural polymer material cellulose as a raw material. They are an odorless, tasteless, non-toxic white powder that swells in cold water into a clear or slightly turbid colloidal solution. It has the characteristics of thickening, bonding, dispersing, emulsifying, film forming, suspension, adsorption, gel, surface, moisture retention and protective colloid. HPMC, MC can be used in construction materials, coatings industry, synthetic resin, ceramic industry, pharmaceuticals, food, textile, agriculture, daily chemical and other industries.
 
Cement based plaster

hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose HPMC products for premixed mortar
The HPMC product for premixed mortar has better water retention in the ready-mixed mortar than the ordinary product, ensuring that the inorganic cementing material is fully hydrated, significantly preventing the bond strength from being lowered due to excessive drying, and cracking caused by drying shrinkage. HPMC also has a certain venting effect. The HPMC product for premixed mortar has a proper amount of venting, uniformity and small bubbles, which can improve the strength and smooth of the ready-mixed mortar. The HPMC product specially used for ready-mixed mortar has a certain retarding effect, which can extend the opening time of the ready-mixed mortar and reduce the construction difficulty.
