HPMC Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose Construction Grade
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is a nonionic cellulose ether widely used in construction materials . hpmc can be dissolved in hot or cold water to form a transparent solution with a specific viscosity.
Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose can be widely used in dry mortar, tile adhensive, EIFS, joint filler, self-leveling mortar and other fields.Plastering, degreasing paint, coating, etc , improve bonding strength, water retention, skid resistance, workability, etc.Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose has good stability under high temperature.
Physical and Chemical Index:
Appearance: white or off-white powder, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic cellulose ethers
Particle size: the passage rate of 100 meshes is more than 98.5%;and of 80 meshes is 100%.
Bulk density: 0.25-0.70g/cm3.
Soluble in water and some organic solvents, such as appropriate proportion of ethanol, water, acetone, water, and trichloroethane etc. Solution has surfactant peculiarity. PH value does not affect solubility in water.
