The Construction grade HPMC cellulose ether has been tested strictly. widly used in construction materials ,the hpmc dosage is very low , it is a important chemcial additive in construction and building materials . it play a greate role of water retention, thickener, workability in construction mortar.
HPMC is odorless,tasteless,non-toxic cellulose ethers producted from natural hIgh molecular cellulose through series of chemical processing and achieved.It is white powder with good water solubility. It has thickening, adhesion ,dispersing, emulsifying, film, suspended, adsorption, gel, and protetive colloid properties of surface activity and maintain moisture function properties ect.

The performance of Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC):
(a): Adhesive: due to the improved plasticity of the mortar, it can better bond the substrate and the adherend.
(b)Anti-sliding: the hpmc cellulose ether can prevent the occurrence of mortar and adherent slip during construction.
(c)Water retention: the hpmc cellulose can enhance water retention, improve the phenomenon of excessive hardening and cracking caused by excessive drying and hydration of cement and gypsum building materials.
(d)Workability: it can increase the plasticity of the mortar, improve the industrial properties of the construction coating, and improve work efficiency.
