Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, also known as hypromellose, cellulose hydroxypropyl methyl ether, is obtained by using high purity cotton cellulose as a raw material and special etherification under alkaline conditions.
Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is a natural polymer cellulose material as raw material, through a series of chemical processes in the system of non-ionic cellulose ether. Methyl cellulose is an odorless, tasteless, non-toxic white powder, soluble in cold water to form a transparent viscous solution. A thickener, binder, dispersion, emulsion, film, suspension, adsorbing, gelling, surfactants, protective colloid and water holding characteristics.

Application in the construction and building industry:
